SENTENCE STRUCTURE Sentence : A sentence is a group of words which expresses a complete thought and consists of a subject and a predicate. A sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark. Subject: 'The salesman' Predicate: 'sold 100 ties'. Sentence:The salesman sold 100 ties.
